บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้าขนอม จำกัด และ บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้า จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอ็กโก กรุ๊ป ร่วมกับอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาหลวง, มูลนิธิไทยรักษ์ป่า และชมรมนักสื่อความหมายธรรมชาติ จัดกิจกรรมโครงการ “ค่ายเยาวชนเอ็กโกไทยรักษ์ป่า รุ่นที่ 63” ขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 5 – 8 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาหลวง (น้ำตกกรุงชิง) จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เพื่อปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมให้กับเยาวชนอย่างยั่งยืน โดยนำกลุ่มเป้าหมายเยาวชนอายุ 14 – 17 ปี จำนวน 52 คน จาก 7 โรงเรียนรอบพื้นที่โรงไฟฟ้าขนอมและพื้นที่ต้นน้ำนบพิตำ มาร่วมกันย้อนรอยสายน้ำจาก “พื้นที่ปลายน้ำ” ในอำเภอขนอม สู่ห้องเรียนธรรมชาติที่ยิ่งใหญ่ ณ “พื้นที่ต้นน้ำ” เพื่อเรียนรู้ความเชื่อมโยงของระบบนิเวศอันเป็นจุดกำเนิดของสรรพสิ่ง สอดคล้องกับนโยบายของบริษัทฯ ที่มุ่งมั่นให้โรงไฟฟ้าขนอมเติบโตและอยู่เคียงคู่กับชุมชนอย่างเกื้อกูลตลอดไป

หัวใจสำคัญของค่ายในครั้งนี้คือการสร้างความเข้าใจแบบองค์รวมผ่านแนวคิด “ป่า-เขา-เรา-ทะเล” เพื่อให้เยาวชนเห็นภาพสายใยธรรมชาติที่ไม่อาจแยกขาดจากกัน โดย “ป่าและเขา” ณ ป่ากรุงชิง ทำหน้าที่เป็นแหล่งกักเก็บน้ำและต้นกำเนิดความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพที่ส่งผลโดยตรงต่อความสมบูรณ์ของ “ทะเล” และระบบนิเวศชายฝั่งอันเป็นขุมทรัพย์ทางธรรมชาติของชาวขนอม ผ่านตัวกลางคือ “เรา” หรือมนุษย์ที่เป็นทั้งผู้ใช้ประโยชน์และมีหน้าที่ดูแลรักษา ซึ่งกิจกรรมศึกษาเส้นทางธรรมชาติได้เปิดโอกาสให้เด็กๆ สัมผัสประสบการณ์ตรงจากการสำรวจป่าดิบชื้น เพื่อให้ตระหนักว่าหากป่าต้นน้ำมีความสมบูรณ์ น้ำที่ไหลลงสู่ทะเลก็จะสะอาด ส่งผลให้วิถีชีวิตและเศรษฐกิจในท้องถิ่นยั่งยืนตามไปด้วย

สำหรับการรวมพลังของเยาวชนในรุ่นนี้ ประกอบด้วยนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนบางชุมชนวัดบางคู, โรงเรียนบ้านเปร็ต, โรงเรียนบ้านคลองวัง, โรงเรียนขนอมพิทยา, โรงเรียนบ้านท่าม่วง, โรงเรียนท้องเนียนคณาภิบาล และโรงเรียนนบพิตำวิทยา ซึ่งถือเป็นการสร้างเครือข่ายอนุรักษ์ที่เข้มแข็งจากยอดเขาสู่ชายฝั่ง โดยโครงการค่ายเยาวชนเอ็กโกไทยรักษ์ป่าได้ดำเนินการต่อเนื่องมาตั้งแต่ปี 2547 เพื่อทำหน้าที่เป็น “สะพานเชื่อม” ให้คนรุ่นใหม่เข้าใจถึงต้นสายปลายเหตุของธรรมชาติ และปลูกฝังให้พวกเขาเติบโตเป็นเมล็ดพันธุ์รักษ์ป่าที่พร้อมจะปกป้องดูแล ป่า เขา และทะเลบ้านเกิด ให้คงความอุดมสมบูรณ์ส่งต่อจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นอย่างมั่นคงสืบไป

EGCO Group and Khanom Power Plant Host 63rd “EGCO Forest Youth Camp,” Linking Downstream Youth to Upstream Nature via “Forest-Mountain-Us-Sea” Concept

Khanom Electricity Generation Co., Ltd. and EGCO Group, in partnership with Khao Luang National Park, the Thai Rak Pa Foundation, and the Nature Interpreter Club, held the 63rd “EGCO Forest Youth Camp” from May 5–8, 2026, at Krung Ching Waterfall, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Aimed at fostering sustainable environmental stewardship, the program brought 52 students from seven schools near the Khanom Power Plant and Nopphitam area to explore the great “upstream” classroom. This journey allows youth to trace the origins of their local water sources, reinforcing the company’s commitment to growing harmoniously alongside the community.

The camp’s core philosophy, “Forest-Mountain-Us-Sea,” highlights the vital link between ecosystems. Students learned that the “Forest and Mountain” of Krung Ching act as a watershed that directly determines the health of the “Sea” in Khanom. By exploring rainforest trails, the youth understood that “Us” or humans are the crucial link for protecting upstream forests ensures clean water and abundant marine resources, which sustain local livelihoods. This hands-on experience transforms abstract environmental concepts into a clear, lived reality of how their actions upstream affect their homes downstream.

Representing a network from the peaks to the coast, participants from schools such as Khanom Phittaya and Nopphitam Witthaya joined forces to become the next generation of conservationists. Since 2004, the EGCO Forest Youth Camp has served as a bridge for young people to understand the root of natural cycles. By nurturing these conservation seeds, the project ensures that the forest, mountains, and sea remain thriving resources, preserved by a community that truly understands their interconnected value.
