บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้าขนอม จำกัด (KEGCO) ในกลุ่ม EGCO ร่วมมือกับ ชมรม CSR Thai Club จัดกิจกรรมปลูกต้นไม้ในชุมชน เพื่อขยายพื้นที่สีเขียว ลดภาวะโลกร้อน และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสนับสนุนแผนการลดคาร์บอนของอำเภอขนอมในอนาคต

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันเสาร์ ที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ณ อ่างเก็บน้ำบางคู ตำบลควนทอง อำเภอขนอม จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช โดยได้รับเกียรติจากคณะผู้บริหารและพนักงานของโรงไฟฟ้าขนอม นำโดย คุณณเรศ ชูเกิด กรรมการผู้จัดการ พร้อมด้วยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากภาครัฐและเอกชน สมาชิก CSR Thai Club, อดีตรองปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม และผู้บริหารจากกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง

การปลูกต้นไม้ในครั้งนี้ มีเป้าหมายหลัก คือ การเพิ่มพื้นที่ป่าและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการดูดซับก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม (CSR) ที่โรงไฟฟ้าขนอมให้ความสำคัญกับการดำเนินงานควบคู่ไปกับการอยู่ร่วมกับชุมชนและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน

Khanom Power Plant and CSR Thai Club Plant Trees to Boost Green Space, Aiming for a Low-Carbon Society in Khanom District

Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd. (KEGCO), part of the EGCO Group, has collaborated with the CSR Thai Club to organize a community tree-planting activity. This initiative aims to expand green areas, mitigate global warming, and support Khanom District’s future carbon-reduction plan.

The activity was held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Bang Khu Reservoir, Khuan Thong Sub-district, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The event was honored by the presence of KEGCO executives and employees, led by Mr. Nares Chookird, Managing Director, along with distinguished guests from the public and private sectors, members of the CSR Thai Club, a former Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, and executives from the Department of Industrial Works, who participated wholeheartedly.

The primary goal of this tree-planting event is to increase forest area and enhance carbon dioxide absorption efficiency. This is a key part of Khanom Power Plant’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, emphasizing the importance of sustainable coexistence with the community and the environment.
