วันพฤหัสบดี ที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2568 บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้าขนอม จำกัด โดยคณะดำเนินโครงการฯ จัดกิจกรรม “Khanom Power Learning” อย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งเข้าสู่สัปดาห์ที่ 5 ณ โรงเรียนชุมชนบ้านบางโหนด โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อมอบความรู้และปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกด้านการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเลและสัตว์ในท้องถิ่นให้กับนักเรียน โดยใช้ ภาษาอังกฤษ เป็นสื่อกลางในการจัดกิจกรรมในสัปดาห์นี้

กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ถูกออกแบบมาให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้และสนุกไปพร้อมๆ กันผ่านการเล่นเกมต่างๆ ที่สอดแทรกความรู้ด้านการอนุรักษ์ทะเลไว้ในทุกขั้นตอน อาทิ
– เกม “Guess the Sea Animal”: ให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกทักษะการฟังและการคิดวิเคราะห์ผ่านการทายชื่อสัตว์ทะเลจากคำใบ้

– เกม “Ocean Colour Challenge”: ท้าทายให้นักเรียนได้ใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และฝึกทักษะด้านภาษาอังกฤษไปพร้อมๆ กับการระบายสีภาพตามคำสั่ง

– กิจกรรม “Beach Clean Up”: เรียนรู้เรื่องการคัดแยกและเก็บขยะในพื้นที่สาธารณะเพื่อรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม

– เกม “Ocean Guardian Matching Game”: เสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการดูแลรักษาท้องทะเลผ่านการจับคู่ภาพ

กิจกรรมเหล่านี้ไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้คำศัพท์ใหม่ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับทะเลและสัตว์น้ำเท่านั้น แต่ยังช่วยปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกในการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับนักเรียนตั้งแต่ยังเยาว์วัย

การใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเครื่องมือในการจัดกิจกรรมสอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของ EGCO Group ที่เชื่อว่า “ต้นทางดี จะก่อให้เกิดผลลัพธ์ปลายทางที่ดี” และสะท้อนถึงเจตนารมณ์อันมุ่งมั่นของโรงไฟฟ้าขนอม โรงไฟฟ้าต้นแบบในการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมและอยู่ร่วมกับชุมชนยั่งยืน

นอกจากนี้ โครงการ “Khanom Power Learning” ยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในด้านการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ (SDG 4) และการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง (SDG 14) ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของโรงไฟฟ้าขนอมในการสร้างสรรค์สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ดีอย่างยั่งยืน

Khanom Power Plant Continues “Khanom Power Learning” to Instill Marine Conservation Awareness Through English

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the team from Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited continued its ongoing “Khanom Power Learning” project, now in its fifth week at Chumchon Ban Bang Node School. The primary objective is to educate students and instill a sense of responsibility for conserving the marine environment and local wildlife. This week’s activities were conducted using English as the primary medium.

The activities were designed to be both educational and fun, incorporating knowledge of marine conservation into various games, including:

-“Guess the Sea Animal”: Students practiced listening and critical thinking skills by guessing the names of sea animals from clues.

-“Ocean Colour Challenge”: This game challenged students to be creative and use their English skills by coloring pictures based on instructions.

-“Beach Clean Up”: Students learned about sorting and collecting waste in public areas to protect the environment.

-“Ocean Guardian Matching Game”: This activity enhanced students’ understanding of marine conservation through a matching game.

These activities not only helped students learn new vocabulary related to the sea and marine animals but also instilled a lasting awareness of environmental conservation from a young age.

Using English as a tool for these activities aligns with the EGCO Group’s vision that “a good beginning leads to a good outcome”. It also reflects the commitment of the Khanom Power Plant to be a model for environmental conservation and sustainable coexistence with the community.

Furthermore, the “Khanom Power Learning” project is a part of the effort to drive the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of quality education (SDG 4) and the conservation of marine and coastal resources (SDG 14). This demonstrates the Khanom Power Plant’s dedication to creating a better society and environment for a sustainable future.
