วันพุธ ที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2568 บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้าขนอม จำกัด นำโดยคุณณเรศ ชูเกิด กรรมการผู้จัดการ พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร พนักงาน ร่วมกับศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำจืด นครศรีธรรมราช โดยคุณนิภา กาลศรี พร้อมคณะฯ จัดกิจกรรมเพิ่มประชากรสัตว์น้ำจืดและพัฒนาแหล่งน้ำผุด ประจำปี 2568 เพื่อฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศและส่งเสริมความยั่งยืนในท้องถิ่น โดยมีการปล่อยพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำจืดกว่า 500,000 ตัว ลงในแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติของอำเภอขนอม

โครงการนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างโรงไฟฟ้าขนอม, หน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน, ผู้นำชุมชน และชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ เพื่อร่วมกันปล่อยพันธุ์ปลา 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ ปลาซัมบ้า, ปลาตะเพียนขาว และปลายี่สกเทศ ลงในอ่างเก็บน้ำคลองบ้านกลาง, อ่างเก็บน้ำบ้านบางคู และบ่อน้ำผุด กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีเป้าหมายหลักเพื่อเพิ่มจำนวนประชากรสัตว์น้ำ, เสริมสร้างความอุดมสมบูรณ์ให้กับแหล่งน้ำ, และสร้างอาชีพประมงที่มั่นคงให้กับชาวบ้านในระยะยาว

โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายฐิติวัชร บุญกิจ นายอำเภอขนอม เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยนางสาวพิมพ์รภัช ทิพย์ชวานนท์ พัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เข้าร่วมพิธี ณ อ่างเก็บน้ำคลองบ้านกลาง ตำบลควนทอง ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการขับเคลื่อนตามหลักการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (ESG) และเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ขององค์การสหประชาชาติ

นอกจากนี้ โครงการยังมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาและฟื้นฟูบ่อน้ำผุดให้เป็นแหล่งน้ำคุณภาพที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งถือเป็นการสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกันระหว่างทุกภาคส่วนในการดูแลรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม, ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของสังคม และการบริหารจัดการที่ดี เพื่อสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับชุมชนในระยะยาว

Khanaom Power Plant Launches Project to Release Over 500,000 Freshwater Aquatic Animals, Develops Natural Spring, Aims for Community and Environmental Sustainability

On Wednesday, August 14, 2025, the Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited, led by Managing Director Mr. Nares Chookird and a team of executives and employees, in collaboration with the Nakhon Si Thammarat Freshwater Fisheries Research and Development Center, represented by Ms. Nipa Karnsri and her team, organized the 2025 freshwater aquatic animal population enhancement and natural spring development project. The initiative aims to restore the ecosystem and promote local sustainability by releasing over 500,000 freshwater species into natural waterways within the Khanaom district.

This project is a collaboration between the Khanaom Power Plant, government and private sector agencies, community leaders, and local residents. Together, they released three types of fish—Samba fish, Silver barb, and Mrigal carp—into the Khlong Ban Klang Reservoir, Ban Bang Khu Reservoir, and the natural spring pond. The main objectives of this activity are to increase the aquatic animal population, enrich the water sources, and create long-term stable livelihoods for local fishermen.

Mr. Thitiwat Boonkit, the Khanaom District Chief, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by Ms. Pimraphat Thipchawanon, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat. The event took place at the Khlong Ban Klang Reservoir in Khuan Thong subdistrict and is part of a broader effort to align with the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Additionally, the project aims to develop and rehabilitate the natural spring into a sustainable, high-quality water source. This initiative fosters a shared understanding among all sectors about environmental stewardship, promotes social participation, and encourages good management practices to create long-term sustainable growth for the community.
