วันจันทร์ ที่18 มีนาคม 2567 บริษัท ผลิตไฟฟ้าขนอม จำกัด ร่วมสนับสนุนและปล่อยพันธุ์ปลาน้ำจืด ใหักับเทศบาลตำบลอ่าวขนอม ณ คลองคุระ เพื่อน้อมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณแห่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ที่ได้ทรงริเริ่มการกระจายอำนาจการปกครองให้แก่ประชาชนและเป็นการถือกำเนิดขององค์กรปกครองส่วนทิ้งถิ่นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย โดยมีกิจกรรมปล่อยพันธุ์ปลาน้ำจืด ณ คลองคุระ และ กิจกรรมแจกจ่ายพันธุ์ไม้เพื่อปลูกในพื้นที่สาธารณะประโยชน์ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อไปให้กับคนในชุมชน

KEGCO participated in the Thai Local Day, the event held at the Ao Khanom Sub-district Municipality Office. The main activities included:
-Releasing freshwater fish into the Khlong Kura canal to help increase the number of fish in natural water sources, promote the ecosystem, and create abundance for the community.

-Distributing plant seedlings for planting in public areas to encourage public participation in environmental care, instilling awareness of forest conservation, and creating green spaces for the community.
